Eric Church is an ordinary country artist. He had a normal childhood and went through highschool the same as so many of us are right now. In this song, Eric Church is reminiscing on old times of happiness. The happiness he found in highschool was priceless as no amount of cash could have bought him the "July Saturday Night and the Stars in the Sky" or his old Jeep. You can tell Eric had a genuine happiness during this time period when he sings, "Do you relive those glory days from so long ago?" He had those glory days of happiness. This makes me think about my own life and whether I will have the same moments of happiness as he experienced. I then relate this song back to the movie Arthur, where he finds that moment of happiness not in highschool but later life when he meets Naomi. Is this shot of happiness fair game to any person in the world, or do you earn happiness depending on your life's accomplishments and skills? It's nice to think that it's fair game to anyone and any person can be happy no matter their status in civilization or what lunch table they sit at.   Eric Church, Lily Evans, Arthur and Sdepa all have one thing in common which is that they experienced an event in their lives where they discovered a priceless happiness. I personally think I've found that priceless happiness but unlike Eric Church I didn't find it a July Saturday Night, in Springsteen.
